As we hit our one month launch anniversary, we have published 25 stories of domestic abuse survivors for our 100 Story Campaign.  Thank you to all the women who have helped us reach this first milestone.  Together we will #shatterthesilence.

We have another new partner organization for our Fifty to Freedom drive! Through These Doors operates a shelter and provides several other support services for survivors in Maine. They will be allocated a portion of the $50 gift cards from the fundraising drive for the women they serve to use for basic necessities while the survivors rebuild their lives.

Stronger than Silence is starting a new fundraising drive! Fifty to Freedom allows you to give any amount you can so that we can create $50 gift cards for survivors to use at Walmart or Target for necessities (think diapers, new shoes, kid's backpacks) as they transition to their new life. Our founder has just been named the Gives Back Award winner from the It Works Gives Back Foundation, for her ongoing work on domestic violence issues.  The award comes with a donation to Stronger Than Silence and we are so grateful!

Stronger than Silence is excited to share that one of the partner organizations for our Fifty to Freedom drive is HOPE Family Services, a Florida domestic abuse service organization and shelter.  HOPE will be allocated a portion of the $50 gift cards to provide to the women they serve, like our other partner organizations across the country.

Stronger than Silence has started a 100 Stories drive to capture the journey of 100 survivors!  Thank you to Kristin and Kellie for sharing your stories as our first two participants.  So much more to come!
